I wanted to talk a little bit about the Haldol injections that I get. I have schizophrenia and part of the medications that I receive are Haldol injections. The long name is Haldol Decanoate or Haldol DEC for short.

I don’t understand why people hate each other for stupid things like whether or not someone has sex with someone of the same sex. Who really cares? Why do homophobic people get all up in arms and flail about saying it is disgusting and wrong? It is neither disgusting nor wrong. Well, I mean sex between two non-consenting people can be disgusting and wrong, but sex between two consenting adults…there’s nothing wrong with that!

Kitty Teeth Care

Well, here’s something not a lot of people think about: cleaning your cat’s teeth! I didn’t know that we are actually supposed to clean our cats’ teeth, but I guess that is what the vet suggests. Now just how we are going to be able to do this is another story altogether! I still haven’t attempted it with my cats, but it is important, because plaque and tartar can build up which might lead to gum disease and your cat (or mine) could lose their teeth!
Harry Potter: I Can’t Wait!

Well, the time is almost here and I can hardly stand the wait! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows aka Harry Potter Book 7 is almost out. By this time tomorrow it should be released. I might go to a Harry Potter book party after my work party tomorrow night! Well, I don’t know if I will, because I’m getting my copy delivered by Amazon.com. I am hoping it will arrive on Saturday. The only problem I can see is that I don’t have time to sit down and read the book right now. I don’t know if I can wait though. I really want to read book seven as fast as I can to find out what happens.
Heaven on Earth

Sometimes when I’m driving home or just laying around I think about how fortunate I really am. I think about all of the horror and terror in the world and I want to cry. I want to cry simply because of the horror, but also because I know the world doesn’t have to be like that. In my corner of the world I think it is like heaven on Earth sometimes.

I got these two cute turtles today at the Starbucks near my house. I know, I shouldn’t support the evil empire, but I do anyway. Can I help it if Starbucks is taking over the world with their tasty concoctions? I mean, and don’t they give back and sell fair trade coffee and promote reading? Are we to hate them just because they are huge and EVERYWHERE? Maybe that is reason enough. I just don’t know.
