A Jingle Bell Candy Cane!

I just made this little jingle bell candy cane! It even has a ribbon for hanging! I think it turned out pretty great if I do say so myself! Yay! :) The pic is a view of the back and front of it.

Here are some new pillows I’ve been working on. I’m going to be selling on consignment at In Other Words in Portland, Oregon. I’m pretty excited about it! The first one is Henry Miller Magic cat with red stripes. The second one is Judy the Utie(rus) with minis on the back. The third one is a pillow of Angelica Kauffman and Mary Moser having tea.

Pink Piggy Pillow!

I had this cute fabric with pigs on it, and I was just itching to use it in some way, so I decided to make a pink piggy pillow. BTW, you can find this supercute pig fabric at Hawthorne Threads. Here is the link: http://www.hawthornethreads.com/fabric/designer/david_walker/get_together/pig_toss_in_pink. It looks much cuter in person and is super soft and comfy too! Anyway, I started out with the pig shape face and hand-stitched the pig. I added a little bit of fluff to the feet and ears and when I sewed the pig on the pillow I added a bit of fluff between the pillow and the pig face. I also put on the back pig butt and added some fluff in that too. And what piggy could be complete without a ribbon on his tail?!? Finished Black and White Typewriter Pillow

So, I took my typewriter fabric and made a pillow out of it. I like it a lot! It took a lot of stuffing to fill it, but it is super comfy now! :) The back has black and white polka dot fleece that is available from Joann Fabrics (http://joann.com). I just finished my blue frog kitty project for my friend who likes blue and frogs. I hope she likes this! :) I used the frog fabric on the back of both the big kitty and the baby kitty this time. :) Click any of the pics to enlarge. :)

Superhero Cats!

This is my latest cat project. I’m working on two superhero cats for two different little boys. I’ve finished one of the big cats and two baby cats, but I still need to make the capes for the baby cats. Update: I finished one baby cat cape! Adding pic now. :) I got the supercute superhero fabric from Hawthorne Threads. (Here is a link to the Superhero Fabric) They have some of the best fabric around in my opinion, but I am also glad that the Joann Fabrics near my house has a big selection of fleece! :) If you click the pics you can see an enlarged view. :)

Yellow-Backed Calculus Pillow

Calculus Pillow

I just finished making my yellow-backed Calculus pillow. It has soft fleece on the back and my Calculus fabric that I made on the front. Here is the link for the Calc Fabric: http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/1147427. It took a lot of stuffing to fill it, and I probably should have made it with an insert instead of filling, but meh! I love it anyway! Should help me get comfy when I need to do my Calc homework! haha. And yes, it is made from actual Calculus homework! :) Yay!!!
