I added lights, a few more bears, and an angel on the top! :)
Since I’m organizing my book collection I decided to make a Christmas tree out of books! hahaha. Here it is so far. I might put lights on it too. If I had the patience I’d string popcorn and put it on! hehe
Well, I finished up my Christmas Ships project and created a brand book. Here are the pages from the brand book. I’m also including a pic of what the cover looks like actually put together. :) I had fun with this project! :)
I’ve been working on this design project for my typography class. I chose to do an event series centered on the Christmas Ships that parade up and down the rivers near Portland, Oregon with Christmas lights. Find out more at http://christmasships.org if you are interested. Here is some of my work so far. There is a whole bunch more process work that I’m not posting, but this is where I’m at right now. We have to create a whole bunch of different parts for the whole campaign. You can click the below images to enlarge them too.
This is our 2013 Christmas tree. It has a few Hello Kitties, but mostly it has my Winter collection of Starbucks Bears. :) There are also a few ornaments on it, but not many compared to how many ornaments we actually have! lol. The Winter Starbucks bears also include some of my Chinese New Year Bearista bears. :) Happy Holidays everybody! :)
Here are two more links for free ebooks through libbo. If the links don’t work, then they have expired or someone else has already claimed the free ebooks! Otherwise, first come first serve! Up for grabs: Harry Potter Unofficial Happy Christmas Cookbook and The Storytelling Animal. I have read the Storytelling Animal and it was pretty interesting.

Made this pirate kitty for my friend’s son. His pants are removable. Bit of an OOPS in the fabric placement for the crotch area on the front. Luckily the pants cover it! haha. He’s also got an eye patch (but no eyes) and a bow tie. I hope he enjoys his matey! Arrrggggh!!! :)
I can’t figure out now if these are actually kitties or bears or some weird hybrid! lol. I decided to make some of these kitties for different people using different fabrics. Here we have: green kitty, beach kitty and horse kitty! :) SWEET! I’m currently in love with these little things! lol
My supernice friend Debby gave me some Hello Kitty holiday fabric and I decided to make a Hello Kitty ornament doll with it. I made two other smaller ones, but their hands were shaped more weird, so I enlarge the pattern I designed and came up with this Hello Kitty! I thought she could do with a skirt/apron too! hehe. The red stripes are the back. Even though she has no real face, I think she is pretty cute! :)
I just completed this little wreath that I made to go with my candy canes! It turned out fairly well for my first ever attempt at such a project! Yay!!!
