I just got my white-backed cupid wrapping paper today! I love it! Supercute! :) I made the drawings of the cupids on my ipad and then adjusted everything in Photoshop. I can’t figure out now if these are actually kitties or bears or some weird hybrid! lol. I decided to make some of these kitties for different people using different fabrics. Here we have: green kitty, beach kitty and horse kitty! :) SWEET! I’m currently in love with these little things! lol
My supernice friend Debby gave me some Hello Kitty holiday fabric and I decided to make a Hello Kitty ornament doll with it. I made two other smaller ones, but their hands were shaped more weird, so I enlarge the pattern I designed and came up with this Hello Kitty! I thought she could do with a skirt/apron too! hehe. The red stripes are the back. Even though she has no real face, I think she is pretty cute! :)
I just made this little jingle bell candy cane! It even has a ribbon for hanging! I think it turned out pretty great if I do say so myself! Yay! :) The pic is a view of the back and front of it.
Here are some new pillows I’ve been working on. I’m going to be selling on consignment at In Other Words in Portland, Oregon. I’m pretty excited about it! So, I took my typewriter fabric and made a pillow out of it. I like it a lot! It took a lot of stuffing to fill it, but it is super comfy now! :) The back has black and white polka dot fleece that is available from Joann Fabrics (http://joann.com). I wanted to make these kitties for a friend who is a nature/environment lover. I hope it cheers him up a little when he gets it. :)
So, for my Biology class that starts Fall term we have to use these iClicker devices (I’m assuming for taking quizzes or something). I bought a Hello Kitty tin to put it in, but I didn’t want it clunking around in there, so I made this iClicker fabric cozy for it out of a swatch of fabric that I had. The inside is lined with fleece so it is a bit heavier weight than just cotton fabric. :) Neat! Now I can be all kawaii in bio class! :) hehe UPDATE: I decided to put on some ribbons that when tied keep the clicker from falling out! :)
Frog Kitty in Process
This is my current kitty project that I’m working on tonight. It is for a friend who likes blue and frogs. Amazingly enough I was able to find fabric with blue frogs on it!!! Yippee! I hope she likes it! :)
