I just made this green polka dotted cat. He looks a little like the Lochness Monster I think! LOL I’m actually trying to get a better shape for the cat design, but haven’t succeeded yet! Guess I’ll just have to make more cats! haha!

Here is the second set of swatches that I got from Spoonflower.com. I liked the way the little girl (Celia) one turned out, except that it had a couple of holes in the black where I forgot to color in the image, so I’ve updated that and it should be fixed now. :) I think the playing kitty one is interesting, but I also uploaded another one to see what it would look like bigger. With this one it really becomes more about the pattern, which can be good for some projects! I think the little chicken turned out pretty cute too!!! :) Yay!

I got my first fabric swatches from Spoonflower.com today! It is so exciting to see my drawings translated into fabric! The colors are a bit different (as can be expected with printing issues), but overall, I think they are so cool! I’m going to really have to work on creating some fantastic fabric designs!!! :) hehe. I can’t wait to use my very own fabric in my projects!!! Thank you Spoonflower! I just made this striped pink kitty who has a window to his belly where you can see the birds he has eaten. I’m quite a terrible sewer, but I think it turned out okay anyway! :)
I just found this place called SPOONFLOWER on the internet and haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds so cool! You can upload your photos or designs and have your very own fabric printed!!! OMG it seems so great! You can also sell the fabric you design on their website and get 10% of the sale! Pretty cool! And as far as I can tell you maintain all copyrights to your material too! I can’t wait to try it out. I’ll post an update when I do try it to let you all know how it goes. :) Oh yah, and they also have tons of supercute fabrics that you can buy that other people have designed! :)
I just got these super kawaii sticker/tape things in the mail today! I got them thru a sale at FAB.com. If you don’t know about FAB.com it is great, because you can get credits that act as real monies to buy stuff from the site. The masking sticker set is like tape/sticker stuff. Each card is about the size of a playing card. I thought they’d be much larger, but oh well. It is sometimes hard to tell from photos. The other ones are kawaii tapes that you can use for just about anything. I can’t wait to figure out how I’ll use this stuff! I’m a bit weird, because I’m very fond of office supply type products! lol
I just got these two new NEIVZ rings at a great discount. Thank you so much NEIVZ! I love them both! They are RAD and SWEET! lol I first heard of NEIVZ through the Hello Kitty rings on Fab.com. The rings and other jewelry available are made out of wood and plastic or acrylic materials I think. They are really fun and I’ve really never seen anything like them before. Here are two three pictures of my very strange flower art project. This art project is made out of sewn bits of fabric, paper, tape, buttons, label maker tape, and a bit of watercolor. It was pretty fun to make, but very time-consuming. Now I really must work on my math homework! I think it looks better enlarged, so if you want to see it bigger, just click the picture. :) I just updated this post to include a pic of it with the foamboard and the yellow border. :)
