Even though you were joking when you said, “think a little harder” if you can’t think of friends and families that give you reasons to live, I think there’s a kernel of truth there: What you may remember is that bad times have given way to better times in the past, and you may then be able to project that into the future, giving yourself a little boost to take another step out of the depression.
Thank you for that wonderful comment Hakon. Yes, I think when we are depressed we do remember more of the bad than the good!
