Okay Sanela, I’m going to be going Lomo crazy really soon! I first heard of Lomo a few months ago and was intrigued immediately. But then I was like: I already have a camera. I really like my digital camera…yadda yadda yadda. But watching this video that Sanela sent me has convinced me to go the way of the lomo. So, I’ll still use my digital camera, but I’m really interested in the whole concept of lomo and going back to film, shooting from the hip or the shoulder or wherever and snap, snap, snapping fast and furious or not. (hehe) I just went on amazon and bought a Holga camera and some other supplies. Now I can’t wait for them to arrive. I love the idea that this lens is already wacky and weird and that it is all so lo-tech. I know I’m no trend setter, people have been doing lomo for years and maybe lomo is really passé now. I have no idea. I came to Harry Potter late and I’m coming to Lomo late, but I don’t care. I’m still looking forward to reading book 7 just like everyone else, and now I’m looking forward to experimenting with lomo! Yay! If you are confused about lomo…just watch this documentary. It might inspire you too! If it does, let me know. Maybe we can have a little Lomo group here. :) Thanks Sanela!
P.S. I forgot to mention that this documentary is divided up into seven parts. To see the other parts, just click on the video and it will take you to the original YouTube page. From there click on the user name and then look for the video parts on their page.
hi!kristin
I bought LOMO six years ago. I use only the digital camera now. To see this article, I became the feeling with LOMO again.
