I made this skirt from scratch! My first ever! Not so fashionable for some people, but I think it is funny and cute! hehe The front has gnomes in white and the back has gnomes in green. Along the bottom are little checkered bows. :) I just sort of eyeballed the whole thing, so I was really nervous it wouldn’t work or fit, but it did! Yay! :) I did make the matching scarf a few weeks ago before I decided to make the skirt. :)

His pants are removable. Bit of an OOPS in the fabric placement for the crotch area on the front. Luckily the pants cover it! haha. He’s also got an eye patch (but no eyes) and a bow tie. My supernice friend Debby gave me some Hello Kitty holiday fabric and I decided to make a Hello Kitty ornament doll with it. I made two other smaller ones, but their hands were shaped more weird, so I enlarge the pattern I designed and came up with this Hello Kitty! I thought she could do with a skirt/apron too! hehe. The red stripes are the back. Even though she has no real face, I think she is pretty cute! :)

I had this cute fabric with pigs on it, and I was just itching to use it in some way, so I decided to make a pink piggy pillow. BTW, you can find this supercute pig fabric at Hawthorne Threads. Here is the link: http://www.hawthornethreads.com/fabric/designer/david_walker/get_together/pig_toss_in_pink. It looks much cuter in person and is super soft and comfy too! Anyway, I started out with the pig shape face and hand-stitched the pig. I added a little bit of fluff to the feet and ears and when I sewed the pig on the pillow I added a bit of fluff between the pillow and the pig face. I also put on the back pig butt and added some fluff in that too. And what piggy could be complete without a ribbon on his tail?!? I made this fabric for another contest over at spoonflower.com . For this contest, we were supposed to use the donkey and the elephant and incorporate them in a way where they were kind of getting along (much the opposite of reality unfortunately)! I wanted the middle stripes to be purple as a symbol of the combining of blue and red, but it sort of turned out more blue that I’d hoped. I made this stripey black and white typewriter fabric for the weekly design contest at Spoonflower.com. If you want to sign up with spoonflower and vote for me, that would be great! Anyway, they have a different contest pretty much every week. This week it was using black and white with the theme of typewriters. I ordered the fat quarter of the fabric and got it in the mail today. I haven’t ironed it yet, but the pic is what the fat quarter looks like! I think I’m going to make a big pillow out of it. iClicker Fabric Cozy

So, for my Biology class that starts Fall term we have to use these iClicker devices (I’m assuming for taking quizzes or something). I bought a Hello Kitty tin to put it in, but I didn’t want it clunking around in there, so I made this iClicker fabric cozy for it out of a swatch of fabric that I had. The inside is lined with fleece so it is a bit heavier weight than just cotton fabric. :) Neat! Now I can be all kawaii in bio class! :) hehe UPDATE: I decided to put on some ribbons that when tied keep the clicker from falling out! :)

I’m pretty sure the people I have made these kitties for don’t read my blog, so I’m going to post the pics of new kitties I have made! The first one I just finished today for a wonderful young woman who just completed dental hygienist school. I’ve known her since she was born actually! I found the cute teeth fabric on spoonflower. I think they are just adorable with their pink cheeks! hehe. The second cat I made for my aunt’s friend. It is different on the back, because the back doesn’t have fuzzy fabric, but instead the flying cat fairy fabric. The last two I made especially for a friend who lives far away. The shoes reminded me of his new sneakers that I saw on facebook, and I know he likes pandas, so I wanted to do a panda cat for him. :) Click any of the pictures for a larger view. :)

Pink kitties in the works!
Right now I’m working on these pink kitties. I’m making the eyes with felt instead of buttons, because it is for a baby. I’m hoping that babies don’t eat the other stuff on the kitty! lol I’m sewing the stuff on pretty tightly, but babies can be strangely strong! The fat fairy on the pocket is my own design! :)

My third panda fabric, Panda in Circles, came in the mail the other day! I just love it and wish I knew how to sew better, so I could make something awesome! lol I think the fabric turned out supercute! :) I love me some pandas! Yay!

I’m working on two superhero cats for two different little boys. I’ve finished one of the big cats and two baby cats, but I still need to make the capes for the baby cats. Update: I finished one baby cat cape! Adding pic now. :) I got the supercute superhero fabric from Hawthorne Threads. (Here is a link to the Superhero Fabric) They have some of the best fabric around in my opinion, but I am also glad that the Joann Fabrics near my house has a big selection of fleece! :) If you click the pics you can see an enlarged view. :)

Orange Chevrons with Balloons
I made another Calculus fabric through spoonflower (http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/1187406), because I was so excited about my first Calculus fabric. Well, the material arrived in the mail today! How exciting!!! I also got my design of balloons on orange chevrons, but I have to work on perfecting the chevrons and getting it how I like it. Calculus Pillow
I just finished making my yellow-backed Calculus pillow. It has soft fleece on the back and my Calculus fabric that I made on the front. I love it anyway! Should help me get comfy when I need to do my Calc homework! haha. And yes, it is made from actual Calculus homework! :) Yay!!!

I’m very excited, because I actually had a sale recently! Yay! I also get very excited when people just visit my listings! Etsy keeps track of visitors with stats and stuff like that. I get very OCD about the whole thing I must admit. So, here is a pic of what my storefront looks like pretty much. I mostly have prints for sale, but I’m hoping to add more cats and other things once I get them made. I hope you can stop by and look around. It is really hard to get visitors, because there are like a gazillion gillion people on etsy already. I don’t know how people make it work really! I think I’ve finally gotten the shape of my kitty pattern pretty much figured out. I like the shape of this kitty a LOT better! And, I decided to put a pocket on it which led me to think of putting a baby kitty in the pocket! haha! I love how it turned out!!! My sewing skills still suck, but I love these two new kitties! I sewed the baby kitty totally by hand, because he was so small.
