Hi Everybody!

Hi Everybody! I don’t have anything good to write about, so this will just be a yammering post. I’m feeling much better so far this week compared with the last couple of weeks. I even felt motivated enough to attack the mess in my room. I think the Hello Kitty stuff really spurred me into feeling better, plus some of the stuff is organization-oriented, so I’m feeling in an organizing mood.
You couldn’t tell it by looking at the trash heap that is my room now, but I used to be a very organized person. Even when I was a little kid, I would rearrange my room and decorate and organize everything. I would place my stuffed animals in rows and give them all names and then take attendance (as if they could get away! hehe). I used to alphabetize all of my books and evenly space all of my hangers and was generally neat. Then I don’t know, I guess when I went insane I got a lot more disorganized. I no longer got straight A’s in school and I slacked off on things a lot more. So, it really makes me feel good to be organized and to organize things. It makes me feel like my old self again.
Well, I’ve got a long ways to go to get my room in tip top shape. I keep hoping that I can get it in near perfect shape, then something always gets in the way, like I become unmotivated or school starts or something else happens. I am hoping to get mostly organized before school starts again on the 24th, because I want to be able to come home to a clean room where I can actually get some studying done! Right now my desk is piled with junk. Well, I have several desks and they are all piled with junk. It is going to take some doing, but now that I have made a dent I am feeling more hopeful about the situation.
Gosh, this must be like the most boring blog ever! Well, I think I’ll have to end up getting some boxes to put stuff in and I really need to clean out my file cabinet too. I have phone bills and rent stubs and credit card bills from like eight years ago in there! Yikes! I definitely don’t need those now, do I? No!
One thing that is really bothering me is that I keep finding spiders in my room. I know there are places where they can get in and it just freaks me out! I found like three today alone! I am soooo afraid of spiders too. I’m hoping if I really clean up everything they won’t like it in my room anymore. Still, I’m sure they are crawling all around behind my books and everything! AHHHHHH! I smashed a giant one with my shoe today. It was so disgusting. I can’t even stand killing them, because it totally creeps me out, but I did it. I know they are crawling in here because of the weather. They will be gone in the winter, but it makes my skin crawl and then I feel like spiders are always crawling on me, even when they aren’t!!!
Shudder!
Anyway, I’m going to be cleaning, so I won’t have us much time to be slogging and posting stuff here. Haha. I say that now, but I’m sure I’ll be here wasting my time soon enough! Sorry for the boring post. I’ll try to think of something more exciting later. Please do a spider dance for me and help me drive the spiders out of my room!!! Thanks!

Lol! Kristin
Im terrified of spiders myself…My home is fairly neat and organized, yet I have heard that it’s a bad year for spiders…yuck!
One morning I woke up and I saw this monstrous black spider sitting next to my coffee cup in the kitchen. I thought that Len was playing a trick on me, that he left a rubber spider on my counter. All of a sudden, realization hits that this is real, and no joke.
I grabbed at it with a paper towel, and it ran behind my stove. Like hurculese, those people whose adrenaline rush allows them to commit great feats of strenght, I yarded my stove out, and noticed that this very same spider had built a nest of eggs….about fifteen or twenty spider eggs all the way upside my wall behind the oven. I squished the spider and cleaned behind my stove….it’s just a lucky thing that I discovered it in time. A little longer, and my home would have become arachnophobia!
A couple of weeks later, I get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I turn on the light, and I see something massive….the size of my palm, really, brown, ugly, hairy staring at me.
this is the gross part…..I grabbed some TP to catch it, when I do, I accidentally impale it with my index finger!!!! Yuck! spider guts all over my finger and my bathroom baseboard!
Unfortunately, that last incident has scarred me for life. I refuse to use my index finger related to anything with food. It is my right index, however I can’t bring myself to cook or eat using that particular finger.
This happened within a month of each other. I get tonnes of spiders on my balcony because of massive oak trees right in front of me. I constantly evict them with my broom, but there always seems to be more
I hope I didn’t gross you out. Those were my most horrible spider stories for this year…
Hugs, Jennie
